The touristic spot of Valbona Valley has become one of the most attracting destinations in Albania, due to its breathtaking nature and the original and traditional lifestyle of local inhabitants of the area.
Compared to a year before, the number of Albanian and foreign tourists has tripled, says the deputy Head of Margegaj commune, Ervis Mahmutaj.
“The number of tourists in Valbona National Park continues to increase. During the weekends, the number is higher and we face problems in their accommodation, so tourists book hotel rooms one of two weeks before they come here.”
