“Saranda Fair 2014” second national edition, an exibition of handicraft works

Ionian Agency of Enviroment and Tourism organized in Saranda the “Saranda Fair 2014” second national edition on 14-16 August, with the support of Saranda Municipality. In this fair, more than 60 commercial entreprices and dozens of artisans from different regions of Albania attended it with the aim to promote their handicrafts and art works.

The representative of IAET Shkelqim Hajno declared that this fair was organized for the purpose of the touristic promotion  of traditional handicrafts such as work in lace, wool, wood, stone, leather, ceramic, etc.

Albanian artisans presented to each other in this national event, the handicraft traditions from regions of Saranda and Gjirokastra, Shkodra and Prizren, from Fushe Arrez, Kukes and Kruja, from Djakovica, Pristina, Kavaja, Fier, etc.

“Saranda-2014” Fair was a mosaic with variety of works and a true symphony of ethnocultural mosaic by Albanian territories, the expression of fine aesthetic sense of Albanian artists artisans and an itinerary of these regions to a city like Saranda, the favorite destination of tourists in summer.
