Albanian Assembly Speaker, Ilir Meta, visited a newly built warehouse and exportation center for agricultural products in Divjaka city, an investment made by Lika company, aiming to increase the exports of Albanian bio products.
Meta estimated this collection point of agricultural products as an important achievement in the agriculture sector of this area, which according to him, opens a new perspective for Albanian farmers who seek to export their products in 19 European states and regional countries. The warehouse will buy products from Divjaka, Lushnja, Fier, Berati and Shkodra farmers and will ensure their preservation, enabling the reduction of losses.
Meta also declared that the agricultural sector in Albania is a priority sector for governmental investments since is the main resource of revenues to farmers in many villages and an employment perspective for the entire community. Albania is not exploiting all its capacities in this field, stated Meta.
Presented in the inauguration of this center were amongst others, the Minister of Agriculture Edmond Panariti and Ministry of Agriculture officials.
