Albanian Minister of Agriculture Edmond Panariti held a meeting with the Israeli ambassador to Albania, Boaz Rodkin on July 8th. The two high ranked officials discussed on the excellent relations between the governments and businesses of the two countries. Minister Panariti expressed the Albanian government’s will to extend the economic cooperation with Israeli, focusing in the agricultural sector. The Minister also evaluated the friendly relations between the two countries.
In turn, the Israeli ambassador confirmed Israeli’s will to cooperate further with the Albanian government and businesses on the framework of a good friendship between the two countries. Rodkin announced at the meeting that Albania will soon host a new large scale investment in the agriculture sector which consists in the establishment of a modern greenhouse.
This investment which is predicted to be made by a prestigious Israeli company will also serve as a school for training and qualifying Albanian farmers and those who work in the agricultural sector. Israeli and Albanian farmers have cooperated in various initiatives and projects in the last years.
