TIRANA, July 19
Promotion and development of tourism in Albanian and the region was the main topic of a conference that was held on Tuesday in Skopje, Macedonia. The event was attended by the ambassadors of Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The conference was organised under the care of the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Macedonia with the support of the Albanian embassy and other heads of diplomatic missions from the region.
Albanian Ambassador Fatos Reka pointed out the high number of tourists that visit the country’s beautiful beaches, cities with historic and cultural values and admire nature in the Northern Alps and all over Albania.
Representatives from the National Tourism Agency attended the conference and they also shared promotional materials and more information about tourism in Albania.
