TIRANA, June 7
Carla Bruni, the famous singer and the wife of the former French president, Nicolas Sarkozy will come for the first time in Albania with a concert promoting her fifth album ‘French Touch’.
The French-Italian model-turned-singer has chosen June 21, a day coinciding with the World Music Day (in French: Fête de la Musique) to hold a concert in southern Albania, in the theatre of Butrint, which is also a very important archaeological site, protected by UNESCO (World Heritage Site).
On her concert in Albania, Carla Bruni will perform 11 songs from her latest album titled ‘French Touch’, as well as older hits, for the Albanian public. The singer released ‘French Touch’ in 2017 and has sold more than 5 million records worldwide throughout her career.
In 2010 during the time when Carla was the First Lady of France was named by Forbes magazine as one of the most powerful women in the world. In the anticipation of her performance in Butrint, she made a special video promotion for the Albanian audience that you can listen in here:
