Bank of Albania’s Supervisory Council approved on Wednesday the Financial Stability Report for the First Semiannual of 2015, one of the most important reports issued periodically by the Bank. The report aims to identify and evaluate the risks which the financial system in Albania currently faces.
The report shows that during the first semiannual of this year, the financial indicators related to healthcare sector, capitalization and liquidity, and the banking system activity have been improved, thus by strengthening the finance sector capacities to confront risks.
The Financial Stability Report also includes the Financial Stability Declaration which provides a legal request in relation to the latest developments in the finance sector in the country. The Financial Stability Declaration gets published only twice per year.
According to the Bank’s press release about the report, this is the fourteenth report published by the Bank and its main purpose is the analysis of the year’s first semiannual main developments in the finance sector. The report will be published soon at Bank of Albania’s official website.
