Present in the Albania – Kosovo Fair of Agricultural and Agro Processing Products in Prishtina capital, the Albanian Minister of Agriculture Edmond Panariti held a meeting with his Kosovar counterpart Memli Krasniqi and declared that the two countries will soon finalize a joint project for the exportation of flour.
Haxhinasto stressed that Albania has opened its doors for Kosovar products to enter in the Albanian market without barriers, by highlighting that currently Albania has cut barriers for the exportation of eggs and soon it will cut barriers for the exportation of flour. Albania and Kosovo are jointly working in unifying the practices for all products which means Kosovo and Albania will not encounter any barrier in exporting products in the two countries’ markets.
In turn, the Kosovar Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Memli Krasniqi declared that the visit of the Albanian Minister of Agriculture comes after the visit of Kosovo’s President to Tirana and this shows the advancement of our countries’ collaboration. “We have now reached an agreement for the export of grapes, which is very important step forward,” added Krasniqi. At the meeting, the Albanian Minister of Agriculture signed the recognition of the veterinary certificate by which Kosovo will be able to export its eggs to the Albanian market.
The Albania – Kosovo Fair of Agricultural and Agro Processing Products is jointly organized by the Kosovo Chamber of Economy and the Albanian Council of Agriculture in order to gather Albanian and Kosovar businesses and farmers at one place where they can exchange experiences and establish new partnerships.
