Officials of the Albanian Authority of Financial Surveillance are participating in a training offered by the World Bank, in the framework of the insurance market reform that is expected to implement in the coming months.
The Authority of Financial Surveillance is currently implementing “Albania: The insurance market reform” with the support of FIRST Initiative, an institution of the World Bank. World Bank aims to contribute in the implementation of this reform by offering technical assistance in the implementation of legal and regulatory reforms. These reforms will strengthen the surveillance system in the insurance market and develop it further.
During the training, the World Bank experts and the AAFS officials discussed the regulatory framework for the insurance products and the techniques that should be used in estimating the damages for these products.
