Wine Festival organized in Prepsa area, Korce

On December 4^th, in Prespe area was organized the Wine Festival, a fair of different homemade types of wine produced by the locals. During the festival, the locals showcased other homemade products of the zone in a one day fair.

The ceremony was organized by the Municipality of Korca and was attended by local authorities, folkloric singing and dancing groups and locals. Wine is a traditional product of Prespa, a state protected area situated in southeast of the country, in the region of Korca.

The festival was organized as a festive ceremony with traditional singing and dancing shows. Present in the ceremony was also the head of the National Agency of Protected Areas Zamir Dedej which declared that such ceremonies raise the awareness for the importance of protecting tourism areas as Prespa.
