TIRANA, January 6
A Financial Times panel brings an insiderโs guide of where to go in 2020. Among several destinations, panel members picked Albania. Why? It seems that what the country offer puts it on the map of different types of travelers, young and old. Panel member and founder of Wild frontiers Jonny Bealby said that visitors are drawn to the mountains, canyons and rivers, the sparkling coastline, ancient towns, Greek and Roman ruins, Ottoman citadels and rural hospitality.
He pointed out a 15 percent growth in bookings for 2020 compared with the same point one year ago. The article highlights that the Albanian Alps known as the Accursed Mountains are an alternative to the European Alps. At the same time, there are many opportunities to combine adventure, historical, and cultural tours.
The Financial Times list of countries to visit in 2020 also includes
Armenia
