World Bank published a latest report on the most suitable countries to start doing or run your business. As for Albania, the country has improved its ranking position, by making the biggest leap in the rankings. Doing Business 2015 report ranks Albania as the 68th, among the list of 189 countries. Being ranked the 108th in Doing Business 2014 report, (with 40 points change in rank), it seems that the governmental facilities and backing for foreign investors has shown their results.
The annual reports is based on the analysis and the performance of several patterns as the improvement of regulatory procedures, the strengthening of trade institutions which work to support entrepreneurship and businesses and the overall business climate. The digitalization of real estate official documents and noteworthy improvements in the property sector has impacted in this year’s raking by World Bank.
In Albania there have been significant step ups to reduce registration fees for new businesses and improvements in other aspects of opening a new business. The business climate in Albania has improved by 6.3 points, according to the report.
Creating a better business environment is a major way to help spur investor confidence, and in turn, growth.
