Mountain and natural tourism have been a significant priority in Albanian tourism this season. With natural tourism, we mean that one in parks and protected natural areas of Albania, which are turned into destinations that you can visit for their unique nature beauty. Places to be mentioned as: Divjaka National park, Shebenik-Jablanica park, natural park of Valbona, Thethi, and this time visitors from the country and from Europe have been at Ulza Regional Natural Park as well. This park brought a lot of tourists this summer from Germany, Poland, France etc. A positive effect on attracting tourists in this area has had the naturalist organization named “Miqësia” or “Friendship” in English, as it is part of a network for nature protection.
This lake is not too far from Tirana, about one hour by driving, and it is a good possibility for familiar and intimate tourism. Besides green nature and fresh air, what attracts visitors more, is bio and fresh food. Lake fish, cattle meat that graze in those mountains, as well as milk products are a curiosity, especially for foreign people. Country’s history, their traditions, ethnographic motives in their native clothes, their folklore, constitute curiosity for visitors, even when spending hours or days in this province.
