Based on the official data issued by Institute of Statistics (INSTAT), China is the third in the list of countries that Albania has the most trade exchanges with. The report says that trade exchanges with Eurozones’ countries consist in 68.7% of the total amount of trade exchanges.
China now will have more impact in Albania because of the entry of the Chinese currency in the Albanian bank system, which will alleviate the trade exhances between Albanian and Chinese businesses.
The main trade partners of Albania regarding imports and exports are Italy (37,8%), Greece (7,2%), China (7,1%) and Turkey (5,8%).
The report of INSTAT has published data regarding exports and imports performance of country for June-July period for 2014, according to which the exports and imports decreased, compared to the same period of the previous year.
