During the last week, Albania saw an increase of tourists from Kosovo and Macedonia. According to authorities from Morina cross-border point northeastern Albania, over 30,000 persons entered Albanian in one week.
Despite the increased number of tourists that come to spend their summer vacations on the Albanian coast, no long waiting lines or other incidents occurred because authorities from both sides worked at full capacity.
Further on, based on the data provided by the Albanian Police, over 450,000 tourists from Kosovo and Macedonia entered Albania during July. According to the same data, on average about 17,000 visitors per day come to Albania through Morina cross-border point.
