Tourists Flock to Korca for Year-End Holidays

TIRANA, January 4

Hundreds of Albanian and international tourists celebrated the New Year’s Eve in Korca, the Albanian city of serenades. Even though there was no snow fall during the night, an ice skating rink downtown area created a festive atmosphere.
Despite the low temperatures, Korca welcomed numerous tourists and the data from Hotel and Tourism association all accommodation facilities were booked out.

Korca is one of the best winter getaways for Albanians during the end of year festivities. Excellent food and music created the warmest atmosphere in local pubs and restaurants where the visitors celebrated the New Year Eve. They also visit the neighbouring villages of Dardha, Voskopoja and Morava.
