A panel of experts of “The Royal Geographical Society” institute will organize an event dedicated to Albania on June 18th, called “Discover Albania”. The British experts will share their knowledge about Albania, still considering the small southeastern country of Europe as one of the undiscovered secrets of Europe.
The ancient ruins which transmit centuries of history in a glance, the paradise of the Albanian Riviera, the untouched Albanian Alps and the modern metropolis of the cities are some of the topics which will be presented at the event.
Albania is also known for high potential in cultural tourism, with two cities being part of the UNESCO list of world heritage, two symbols of a crossroad between Western and Eastern parts of Europe. Visitors can see tracks of Venetian, Ottoman, Greek and byzantine cultures in mosques, churches, mosaics, castles and ancient ruins.
Characterized by the Green paradise of Albanian Accursed Mountains in the north and by the Blue Paradise of the Adriatic and Ionian seas in the south, Albania is proud of its treasuries and what it can offer to tourists.
A country known as atheist by the Royal Geographical Society, Albania is the place of hospitable and curious people which are seeking to reach the same living standards as the developed European countries.
“Now it’s the perfect time to visit Albania, an oasis of nature and friendly hospitality.”
