The Albanian government will auction for sale about 85 state owned objects by the end of this year, according to statement by the Ministry of Economy. The head of the Privatization Directory, Zamir Stefani, declared in an interview for Scan TV that the Ministry has compiled the privatization documents for 45 objects.
The Ministry will also sell the shares of Albtelecom Telecommunication Company, which is partially owned and currently under the administration of a Turkish company. The company privatized several years ago but the government still has shares in it.
Following the privatization politics, the government also announced the sale of INSIG insurance company shares, which currently 100% is owned by the state. Armo state owned oil company will also be a subject of privatization.
