Incomes to the state budget have increased during the first months of this year, compared to the year we left. Statistics issued from the Ministry of Finances show that during the first months of 2015, incomes allocated to the state budget reached the amount of ALL 151.1 billion, ALL 6.5 billion more than the same period of the past year.
At the same period, the total amount of state expenditures reached the value of ALL 161.2 billion, resulting with a deficit of ALL 9.7 billion. The increase of incomes has been affected by the entering in force of the new fiscal package which provided measures for the increase of several taxes.
Although the incomes increased compared to the past year, they are not in the predicted levels by the government.
The government also announced the increase of foreign direct investments during this period. Bank of Albania published a report of FDIs, showing that they reached the amount of EUR 258 million where 60% of it was investment in the hydrocarbons sector, private banks and telecommunication.
