Protik Innovation Center organized at its headquarters the Social Business Tech Camp event in collaboration with Yunus Social Business Albania. The event was attended by circa 50 young Albanian entrepreneurs, as well as successful entrepreneurs currently running successful companies.
The main topics of the workshop organized in the framework of the Social Business Week, were related to how an entrepreneur can create a social business in sectors of agriculture, tourism and environment by using technology and putting in life entrepreneurial skills. The head of Protik center Edlira Kasaj made the official opening of the event and highlighted the importance to support and enhance entrepreneurship programs and young entrepreneurs in Albania.
The participants of the workshop divided in three groups where each group proposed a social business idea and then they completed step by step their ideas by identifying the specifics, the customers’ needs, the name/logo of the company and the targeted buyers.
The event was hosted by a German young entrepreneur, Daniel Nowack, head of Yunus Social Business Albania and currently living in Albania. The organizers also make Skype conferences with two young entrepreneurs, founders of many successful startups, some of them known worldwide. They were pleased to give advices to Albanian entrepreneurs and to show their readiness in providing help and support to these youngsters.
The Social Business Tech Camp event is a four day event started on November 3rd and will end with the visit of the Nobel Prize winner in Economy Muhammad Yunus, founder of Yunus Social Business. Yunus will deliver a speech to all interested people on entrepreneurship and social businesses.
Protik is an ICT resource center which offers accelerate business programs and constantly organizes training sessions and programs for Albanian entrepreneurs.
