Restaurants and hotels need to certify their lists of products

According to the new rules announced by Albanian Taxation Office henceforth all hotels and restaurants located in the touristic areas of the country will have to certify their list of prices for all the products their offer for their clients.

The list of prices will be certified by Taxation Office and National Agency of Tourism.

In their official press release, Taxation Office is stated: “We are working in cooperation with National Agency of Tourism to certify the lists of prices of all trade subjects such as hotels and restaurants, and the certified lists will have the stamps of these two institutions.

During their control, Taxation Office inspectors have confiscated 20.000 beer bottles that didn’t contain the needed receipts.
