The Ministry of Economy has announced the opening of a tender for the selling of INSIG state-owned insurance company. After the call for bid, four companies have showed interest in purchasing the shares of INSIG company. According to the head of the Evaluation Commission, Nuri Sopaj, the nominal value for the selling of INSIG shares is 15 million EUR.
Currently, there are four companies interested in buying the shares of INSIG: Balfin Group, Eurosig Sh.a., Kastrati Sh.a., and Shyqyri Duraku. Balfin Group has so far offered an amount of ALL 1.6 billion, Eurosig Sh.a. ALL 2.2 billion, Kastrati Sh.a., ALL 1.5 billion and Shyqyri Duraku ALL 2.1 billion.
After the evaluation of bids by all the applicants, the Ministry will announce the winner of the 15 mln EUR tender. INSIG is the first insurance company in Albania, owned by the Albanian state.
