Private banks increased the number of employers during 2015

The number of employees in the banking system has increased by 10% during 2015, says an official report released by the Albanian Association of Banks. According to the report, during the period of January – September 2015 private banks employed 6812 individuals.

This has come as a result of the increase of revenues for private banks in Albania since during this period they reported a multiplication of revenues due to the increase of deposits and the decrease of nonperforming loans.

Banks which employed the highest number of individuals are Raiffeisen Bank, BKT (Banka Kombetare Trregetare) and Credins Bank. Currently, these banks have the highest amount of deposits and employers.
