Peza N’Fest is an annual music concert organized by the Tirana Municipality as a commemoration of the anniversary of the liberation of the country, each September 16. This September marks the 71st anniversary of Albania’s liberation. The concert is a mix of music shows and art exhibitions whose focus is the history and culture of Albania. It also honors those who fought and were martyred in their fight to liberate the city.
This year’s concert will last three days, according to a latest declaration of the Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj. Veliaj said one of the aims of this concert is to promote the agro tourism and the touristic values of Peza village. “The fiesta will serve as a promoter of Peza’s tourism potential and in the framework of this we have started restoring the Martyrs Cemetery, historic house museums and other historic objects,” said Veliaj in a press interview.
