TIRANA, October 9
A visitor center was opened in Radhima on the occasion of the World Tourism Day. Three other visitor centers will be established in the national parks of Llogara, Divjaka-Karavasta and Dajti Mountain with the support of the European Union through NaturAl Project. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister of Tourism and Environment Blendi Klosi, local Vlora authorities, partners for development, the rangers of the local administration of parks, and community representatives.
The participants praised the natural beauty, the biodiversity and the ecosystems in the protected areas of Albania as destinations with high tourism potential. The new visitor centers will offer quality service and information for Albanian and international tourists. In the meantime, an exhibition on the importance of environment preservation was launched in the premises of the center.
