New funds in support to women entrepreneurs and Start-Ups

Pursuant to article 100 of the Constitution, upon the proposal of the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Enterprise, the Council of Ministers decided:

1. Approval of the action plan for the improvement and monitoring of “Doing Business” indicators;

2. Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Enterprise must follow the implementation of this action plan;

The Council of Ministers also decided to create the “Fund in Support to Women Entrepreneurs” at a total amount of 26 500 000 ALL, for a four year application period. This fund will start its implementation during this year, and the total amount of it will be distributed as following:

a) For 2014, the amount of fund to be distributed will be 2 500 000 ALL
b) For 2015, the amount of fund to be distributed will be 5 000 000 ALL
c) For 2016, the amount of fund to be distributed will be 10 000 000 ALL
d) For 2017, the amount of fund to be distributed will be 9 000 000 ALL

In this session, upon the proposal of the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Entrepreneurship, the Council of Ministers also decided the creation of the “Fund in Support to New Start-ups” that will be distributed in the four upcoming years.  The total amount of the fund will be 25 000 000 ALL, and its implementation will start during 2014. The fund will be distributed as follows:

a) For 2014, the amount of fund to be distributed will be 2 000 000 ALL
b) For 2015, the amount of fund to be distributed will be 4 000 000 ALL
c) For 2016, the amount of fund to be distributed will be 10 000 000 ALL
d) For 2017, the amount of fund to be distributed will be 9 000 000 ALL
