National Registration Center has published new data regarding the opening of new businesses during the first months of this year. More than 50 new enterprices established in Kukes city, have been registered at NRC, .
The number of new enterprices continues to increase in this city but one of the main problems, according to the head of Kukes Municipality Hasan Halilaj is the tax settlement. Thereby, the Regional Tax Directories should collaborate more with businesses in order to solve this problem.
There are over 250 private entities and 40 state entities that have not paid their taxes to the local authorities for the period of 2010-2013. There are 830 small businesses in Kukes city, registered at the NRC, a number three times higher than large business entities.
