September 1st – Colours of Albania jury has announced the winner of the photo competition Nentor Oseku from Kosovo. The competition launched in the first week of May, 2015 and was a joint initiative of the British Council Albania, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Norwegian Embassy. The aim of the competition was to showcase the natural beauty and characteristics of Albania in various aspects.
The jury has chosen 10 best photos for the booklet which will be shared to Albanian Embassies and representative institutions of Albania throughout the world and will be a promoter of Albania’s natural beauties. The other winning photographers are Adil Brahimi, Anstasiya Krivosheeva, Arton Krasniqi, Brisilda Gjashi, Gert Deda, Imelda Alla, Ina Cici, Riza Hylviu, Silvia Azizaj, Toni Nallbani.
Nentor Oseku is a photographer and a hiker from Gjakova, a Kosovar city located in the Albania – Kosovo eastern bordering point. Several weeks ago, Invest in Albania conducted an interview with Nentor Oseku and you may read it here.
More than 8000 photos were shared under the hashtag #ColoursofAlbania in Instagram. Invest in Albania has been a huge supporter of this initiative since it launched and will continue to share photos of talented photographers which were came to the fore by participating in this competition.
