The Ministry of Agriculture has declared that a fund of 1.9 billion ALL will be distributed to farmers as subventions during 2015, aimed at supporting the rural development throughout the country. Policies of the Ministry of Agriculture for the rural development during 2015 predict that investments in this sector as well as livestock, fishing industry and agro business will increase, in accordance with other important financial institutions and groups of interest.
The farmers’ requests for subventions have increased continually and this as a consequence of the government’s efforts to enhance the agricultural production and develop this sector.
The Ministry also announced the ease of several application procedures for farmers who need to finance their activity, and a main point of this remains the increase of number of farmers who benefit from these funding schemes. The main reason of these efforts relate to the increase of competition and exports, which will improve the current situation of the agricultural sector in country.
