Minister of Social Welfare and Youth Erion Veliaj, has visited “Intimoda” confectionery company in Durres, an enterprice funded by the “Employment Promotion Fund”. More than 60 women are employed in this company with the intermediation of the Employment Office in Durres city.
This enterprice has employed 60 women who live in Durres city. When someone is having a difficult time at their life, the state must help anyone. The government aims to to put out citizens from the social assistance and to find them a job through promotion programmes.
Minister Veliaj announced the opening of a new competition for all enterprices which want to benefit from the Employment Promotion Fund, with the aim to reduce unemployment, based on the programmes and schemes presented by Employment Offices in various cities.
In Durres city, 13 businesses have become part of the Employment Promotion Fund, by benefiting 30 million ALL and by hiring 484 new unemployed people who lived only by the social assistance.
