While heading the Albanian delegation in the international Tourism Fair in Paris, France, the Minister of Economic Development Arben Ahmetaj has attended a meeting with important French investors and has appealed to them to invest in Albania, seeing their real interest to invest in the country.
The forum with French investors was organized by the French Confederate of Large Enterprises where representatives of French large companies which operate in different fields and investing groups attended.
At the forum, the Albanian Minister of Economic Development made a brief presentation of the Albania’s economy current performance and the opportunities investors have to invest in many sectors. One of the most potential sectors emphasized by the Minister was the energy sector.
The government is currently applying a second package of reforms to improve the sector and increase its efficiency. According to the Minister Ahmetaj, these reforms have been compiled in accordance with the European Union directives.
