TIRANA, October 9
A memorandum of understanding was signed on Tuesday by Minister of State for Diaspora Pandeli Majko and the National Focal Point of the UNESCO International Bureau of Education (IBE-UNESCO) in the Balkan Region, Jaagz Bajaj.
The signing of the memorandum will further strengthen the relationship between sides on achieving quality education (SDG4), promoting scientific research, and for creating an education curriculum in Albanian. The latter will help Albanian communities in the Diaspora to promote the Albanian language and culture.
IBE-UNESCO is the global center of excellence in curriculum and related matters. Its mission is to provide support and promote innovative solutions to the challenges faced by ministries of education and governments in the complex task of improving equity, quality, relevance and effectiveness of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment processes and outcomes.
