Made in Albania Products in European Markets

Zara and many other companies made Albania the country where they manufacture some of their products that are later sold in the European market and the reasons are easy to understand. During the last three years, 21 contracts have been signed between the Albanian institutions and various subjects that have rented state-owned facilities for the symbolical rent of 1Euro. Minister of Economy Milva Ekonomi said during a visit in Patos area that there are thousands of objects all over Albania available to be rented for the amount of Euro 1.
“So far, about Euro 25 million have been invested by companies that employed over 3,000 persons. I invite entrepreneurs to take these properties into consideration,” Ekonomi said after visiting the two companies, Tur Textil and Picari sh. p. k. The first manufactures products for Zara that are destined to the German, French and Spanish markets while the second produces shoes for European countries.
All the interested investors may find information about these properties at the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA).
Based on official data, the exports of goods from the footwear and apparel industry increased significantly during 2016.
