TIRANA, July 1
The Italian Parliament adopted on Thursday a decision on the revocation of the road tax and fixed toll for all the Albanian transporters. This was confirmed by Prime Minister Edi Rama through a post he shared on social networks and by Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati.
The decision taken by the Italian government provides a solution to an old problem. For many years, it was considered a great obstacle for trade and exchange between Albania and Italy.
Premier Rama and Foreign Minister Bushati thanked the Italian PM, Matteo Renzi for the decision that was taken after many years of bilateral negotiations.
βThis will facilitate the work to Albanian transporters and increase trade exchange between both countries,β Minister Bushati said.
Italy is one of the main economic and trade partner countries of Albania.
