This initiative estimated by PM Edi Rama as a very efficient measure in a short time, since according to him, “this measure has given an instant result in this sector, since exports increased by 30% in the first year of the implementation of it”. Another efficient measure praised by Rama was the subvention of VAT to businesses. According to him, the subvention of VAT has often been a problem for businesses but now the subvention process is transparent and meet deadlines.
The establishment of a new business in our country will always have the support of the Albanian government, stated Rama during a two hour meeting with Italian entrepreurs. “Opening a business in the manufacturing sector is easy as we do not require the social contributions during the first year of its activity. The social contributions are paid by the government since we estimate the first year of a business as a very important period for a positive performance of a business in the future. Another policy we have compiled relates to the taxation. All taxes that new businesses of the manufacturing sector pay will be returned to them in a funding form for innovative and investing projects these companies present. Our taxation system turns Albania into the most adecuate country for FDI-s”, declared PM Rama during the meeting.
While visiting many important companies, among them “Fincantieri” company, the biggest company in Europe for the construction of ships, the representatives of it expressed their interest to visit Albania and open a construction site.
