Deputy president of the Italian Senate, Bruno Mancuso and MP Mariano Fabiano arrived in Tirana on October 30th for an official visit. The high Italian officials were attended in a meeting at Albanian Assembly headquarters by deputy head of Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla. Socialist Party MP Balla said the continuous reforms undertaken by the government in the framework of attracting foreign investments have improved the business climate in Albania. Also, Balla declared that “Italy remains always our main partner in all fields”.
“The Albanian Prime Minister has created a special group to enhance the collaboration between Albania and other countries like Italy, Germany, Turkey and to provide support in the bureaucratic aspect. We aim to avoid barriers and delays in the collaboration between respective governments since the developed countries’ governments are those make big investments in Albania. Our aim is the intensification of relations between Albania and foreign governments for a close collaboration”, highlighted Albanian MP, Taulant Balla.
In turn, deputy president of the Italian Senate, Bruno Mancuso hailed the good and old relations between the two countries and vowed that Italy will do the most to encourage Italian investments to invest in Albania, since this is in the benefit of the two countries. “We must collaborate in other fields as the educational system, Trade Commerce, tourism, ect.,” said Mancuso.
The performance of the recent reforms on the justice system, war against corruption and organized crime were other discussion points between Balla and Mancuso.
