16 small and medium sized Italian garment companies have presented their products (clothes, jewelry and household items) in “Expo Sud Italia” exhibition, in Tirana.
The showcase of Made in Italy products came as an attempt of these companies to enter in the Albanian market and to gain new buyers. The exhibition was the opening ceremony of a two week showcase of these products in Coin and Teg commercial centers until February 21, where Made in Italy products will be showcased in special tents. This initiative of Italian companies located in Puglia, Sicilia and Campania, is supported by the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (I.C.E), in order to promote Italian products in the Albanian market.
General Director of ICE Gabriela Lombardi said these companies are being helped by ICE to expand in the Albanian market, “and we have invested so much for this initiative”.
Participant companies in “Expo Sud Italia” exhibition, which was attended by Italian ambassador to Albania Massimo Gaiani, were companies such Aletex, Apulia Tessile, To be happy, Jais, ect. These companies produce and trade clothes for women and men, handcrafted clothes, pajamas, sculptures and house hold items.
