Italian investors show interest to invest in Albania. Guido D’Amico, the president of biggest associations of Italian entreprise, mainly small and medium entreprises, “Confimprese Italia” had a visit in Tirana and met with high officials.
During his meeting with the deputy head of parliamentary group of Socialist Party Taulant Balla, Guido D’Amico said: “We are very motivated and interested about the Albanian market because Albania is a great opportunity for small and medium entreprises for many reasons such as: geographical proximity, low labor costs and the fact that most of Albanians can understand and speak the Italian language. As soon as I return to Italy, I will present these reasons and a delegation of the association will come here to know closer the opportunities that Albania can offer.”
Meanwhile, Taulant Balla, the deputy head of the Socialist Party’s parliamentary group voiced confidence that Italian investors will establish their branch companies in country and this will help in the opening of new work places, mainly in the sectors of textile manufacturing, in the processing of agricultural products and other sectors.
