Minister of Enviroment Lefter Koka had an official visit in Lombardy, a region in northern Italy and during the meeting with representatives of local institutions and businesses, Minister Koka lobbied for the increase of Italian investments in Albania.
After speaking with many representatives of businesses in the environmental field and businesses of waste managment and treatement, Koka invited them to invest in the Albania’s environment.
“The region of Lombardia is one of the most developed in Italy. Albanian government invites all local businesses to open their branches in Albania, since we guarantee a confident and secure climate for foreign investments”, said Minister Koka.
He emphasized the need of Albania for foreign investments according to the integrated solid waste management, water management, the increase of forest areas throught the reforestation and the rehabilitation of damaged and degraded areas, the improvement of IT system for the environmental management, ect.
