Workforce Survey INSTAT report about the employment of youth in 2015 shows that during the first three months of 2015 the employment rate of young adults increased to 28.9%. The percentage of people aged between 15 to 29 years old which are active in the labor market is 43.9%, according to the report.
In the meantime, employed people aged between 15 and 64 years old comprise 63% of the total number of the employed people in the country. 41% of them are employed in the agriculture sector, 18% of them in the public administration and state institutions.
The Workforce Survey shows that during the first quarter of this year the rate of participation in the labor market is 54.2% for females and 72.2% for males. While, in general terms the rate of participation in the labor market for people aged between 30 and 64 years old is 73.2% and the rate of employment is 64.4%.
