According to figures published by the Institute of Statistics, the Construction Cost Index dropped by 0.1% during the third quarter of 2015, compared to the same period of a year before. During this period, the Construction Cost Index was estimated to be 0.4%.
During this period, the index of “wage expenditures” increased by 1.6%, more than the index of other categories included in the analysis, while the group “material expenditures” has recorded the lowest increase by only 1.3%, in annual terms.
“Wage expenditures” group index increased by 0.9% during the third quarter of 2015, compared to the second quarter of this year, while the index of “material expenditures” increased by 0.3% during the third quarter, compared to the same period of a year before.
The Construction Cost Index measures the price development of the production factors such as raw materials, labor, machinery, transports, energy and other costs that are used in construction projects.
