The annual index of consumption prices during February 2015 has increased up to 2.3%, increasing significantly compared to the annual index of 1.9% in February 2014, announced the Institute of Statistics. The highest increase of the increased prices was recorded at “education services” group by 10.2%, followed by “alcoholic beverages and tobacco” by 6.3%, “communication” prices by 3.7%, ect.
As announced by the INSTAT, the increase of prices comes after a long period that prices of goods did not increase, by remaining at a quote of 2%.
Prices of “food and nonalcoholic beverages” group increased by 4.8% and also an increase of prices was recorded at subgroup products as “vegetables and potatoes” which increased by 17.1%, “fruits” increased by 11.4%, “milk, cheese and eggs” prices increased by 3%.
Prices of several products have also decreased, based on INSTAT official data. The highest decrease of prices has been recorded for “health” group products by 4.3%, followed by “transport” group prices by 3.3%. Compared to the annual index of prices issued in January 2014, the prices of eurodiesel during February 2015 increased by 3.4% while the price of petrol increased by 1.9%.
