European Costal Airlines will fly its hydroplanes in several Albanian coastal cities, with a start point Dubrovnik city. This was discussed at a meeting the Albanian Ambassador to Croatia, Ilir Melo, had with the European Costal Airlines General Director, Captain Dieter Martin, at the Albanian Embassy premises.
In a press release after the meeting, the Albanian Embassy said the discussion between Melo and Martin focused on the flight possibilities of using hydroplanes as means of transport in several coastal territories of Albania.
As a conclusion of the meeting, the European Costal Airline representatives expressed interest to realize flights in Durres, Vlora and Saranda cities. The company operates in Croatia and other European cities. Such project is another way to increase the number of tourists and aims to make Albania a more favorable tourism destination.
