On May 20th, the Hungarian Embassy to Tirana organized the Hungarian-Albanian Economic Forum, in the framework of the Joint Economy Commission of the two countries. The Forum aimed to enhance the economic cooperation between the two countries, since Albania and Hungary are considered as countries with unexploited potential.
Present in the Forum, the Albanian business representatives have appealed to Hungarian businesses to start considering Albania as a potential country to invest in, being that the business climate in country has improved significantly in the past years. Even Hungarian companies have expressed their interest to invest in Albania and to cooperate more with Albanian companies.
Hungarian business representatives declared that the Hungarian businesses must increase their presence in Albania since the infrastructure has improved significantly and the fiscal burden is affordable by foreign companies.
According to the attendants, there are many fields where Albanian and Hungarian companies can collaborate, as the agriculture sector, tourism, ect.
