TIRANA, July 11
The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania has decided to finance the renovation of the building of the Albanian National Council and the functionality of the Multi-dimensional Cultural Centre of this council in the commune of Bujanovac in Serbia. This decision of the Council of Ministers is an extension of the efforts to further consolidate the political relations with the Albanians in that region.
Speaking of this decision today at a press conference, the minister on duty for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj said that the support of the Republic of Albania is necessary for the cultivation and advancing of the national and cultural identity of Albanians in Preševo and Bujanovac. The full functionality of the Cultural Multi-dimensional Center in the commune of Bujanovac will have an important role in the preservation, promotion, and development of the cultural heritage of Albanians in the Preševo Valley and beyond.
