During the presentation of a new program for Albanian entrepreneurs known as “Erasmus, the promotion of entrepreneurship in youth”, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Entrepreneurship Arben Ahmetaj, emphasized the importance of new entrepreneurs for a rapid economic growth by considering them missionaries of the economic growth.
“Now that Albania is an European Union candidate state, we should prepare ourselves for the strong competition that the European Union market represents, which is a spectacular market in all elements: in the competition, innovation and technology, patents, social dimension, speed-work, ect. New entrepreneurs are directly connected to the new economic model”, declared Ahmetaj.
Speaking in numbers, Ahmetaj said that Albania’s exports in agriculture and agroindustry sectors must increase at least with 6% in order that citizens to benefit from the economic growth.
Ahmetaj added that every successful initiative not only inside Albania’s borders but speaking in the regional context, will contribute in Albanian economy. “The more competitive, brave and innovative an entrepreneurship may be, the more the life of our citizens will improve and the more the structure of economy will strengthen”, ended his word Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Entrepreneurship.
“Erasmus, the promotion of entrepreneurship in youth” is a joint programme of European Union and the Regional Development Agency, an exchange programme that consists in the professional training of Albanian new entrepreneurs by giving them the chance to work in big European business companies as well as to give the chance to European new entrepreneurs to work in Albanian business companies.
