In the frame of the revival of agriculture production in Albania, the Ministry of Agriculture announced three months ago a new funding project for farmers who need to invest in their agricultural businesses by implementing greenhouses.
The Ministry announced lately that on September 1st, the Agency of Payments will open the application for farmers who use central heating greenhouses to raise their agricultural products, by funding the oil costs they use for greenhouses to 50%.
All farmers who cultivate their products in these kind of greenhouses may apply until October 31th.
Based on the funding scheme, for every 1 dunam of greenhouse, farmers will benefit 1 ml ALL. This initiative is an encouraging policy for all businessmen and investors that cultivate their products by using greenhouses.
The use of greenhouses has increased rapidly in Albania, as a beneficiary way of country’s agricultural production. Through this practice, farmers can produce agricultural products in every season of the year. Nowadays, in our country there are more than 1 thousand hectares of greenhouses.
