A new policy to attract tourists and to offer them a comfortable staying in Albania is the free access on WiFi, a never-tried-before practice in Albania.
Minister of Innovation and Public Administration Milena Hariti took part in the event for the opening ceremony for for free internet access in the 16 beaches of Albania.
Minister of Innovation emphasized the importance of free internet access for all tourists, especially for foreign tourists which not always have internet access in roaming.
In her words, Harito said that “Internet access is a basis commodity without which we cannot imagine our work, entertainment and culture.The future of online communication stands in the new services which are inextricably related to the broad internet access. Albanian government is working with all current operators to improve the 3G internet access and soon we will be able to use 4G platform as all European countries.”
