First Textile, Leather, and Fashion Fair to Take Place in Tirana in October

TIRANA, August 16

The footwear and manufacturing industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in Albania. Exports from Albania to international markets are driven by the increased production and sales of footwear and textiles. Given the huge potential that the sector offers and opportunities for expanding it further, the first Textile, Leather, and fashion fair will be organized in Tirana on 19-20 October 2018.
The fair aims at increasing presence in the export market and to gain more attention from important buyers. Currently, the sector is oriented towards countries like Italy, France, Germany, Spain, and Northern Europe. In the meantime, one of the fair’s purposes is to expand cooperation in and create new cooperation opportunities in the Western Balkans Region.
Trade and investments in the footwear and manufacturing sector in Albania provides several advantages including a competitive labor cost and skilled workforce, proximity to the European markets, multi-year experience with international brands.
