Bank of Albania has published a latest report regarding the performance of foreign direct investments during the second quarter of this year, according to which FDIs increased by 39.7% in annual terms.
“The developments of the external sector during the second quarter of 2015” report shows that FDIs during this period of time are estimated to be equal to 7% of the Gross Domestic Product. The main contributor in the increase of Foreign Direct Investments have been foreign investments in “capitals and shares in investment funds”, says the report.
Foreign Direct Investments as invested profit and foreign direct investments as external debts decreased during the second quarter of 2015, according to the report. Foreign Direct Investments reached the amount of EUR 4,553.4 million by the end of 2014, states the report issued by Bank of Albania.
